My Name is Jayaprakash Reddy Banala. For convenience, friends and business associates in India and overseas call me JP Reddy or just JP. Currently my full-time occupation is Project Management with specific focus on sustainable architecture and interior design.

I have a collective experience of nearly 35 years from significant fields such as Journalism, Information Technology, Housing, Transportation, Energy, Construction, Design and Project Management. In all these fields I had the privilege of working as Lead Member with total and independent responsibility to start and complete projects creatively and innovatively. Whether it is a small independent villa or a large hydroelectric project, I took pleasure in managing them all with equal dedication and responsibility.

In my professional career I had the good fortune of receiving commendations from several distinguished leaders including then Congress Party Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi, then Deputy Prime Minister of India Lal Krishna Advani of BJP, and Sir Edmund Hillary, a distinguished citizen of New Zealand who was the first mountaineer to climb Mount Everest to its Summit.

Since six years I have been managing my own company affairs as Managing Director. This company is called JPR Projects Pvt Ltd which specializes in design and construction. I have travelled to most parts of the world including China. During my dozens of visits to China over the past several years, I have learnt a great deal about the Chinese culture, most significantly their readiness to work and succeed on a big scale.
